The beach behind the house far exceeded our hopes- it is completely private. We didn’t see any other people there and it was really beautiful. We spent a lot of time with the kids at the private beach. The house is more of a cottage-villa vibe than modernesque, and is very woodsy. The bedrooms are exactly what the pictures show. The bathrooms are a bit interesting but also, not different than the pictures. There is no real roof in the center of the house and that’s one thing I wish there was a picture of- the hut/teepee-roof. We did encounter a lot of ants in the kitchen and we had to buy our own ant sprays. Eduardo and Ricardo are extremely responsive and helpful. Ricardo met us at the house when we came, showed us around and left some fruit. He was very responsive through the stay. The hotel zone is about 20 minutes away which was perfect for us. The area felt pretty safe and secluded. Overall a wonderful stay. Would absolutely recommend. Thank you Eduardo and Ricardo!

We wish we could give a good review for this place. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this place or the host and it was one of our worst experiences using Air Bnb. In the listing it says that Ricardo will meet you at the house with fresh fruits and juices- that is a lie. He even texted us that he was on the way and didn’t bother to show up- Which is so disrespectful as we stayed at the house purposely waiting for him to arrive. The house itself stunk of garbage and was poorly cleaned and reeked of urine in some parts. There is a family of iguanas that live under the pool and pooped all over the patio and in front of us our first day. The check out instructions weren’t available and Ricardo entered the house with no warning on 3 separate occasions which is supposed to be a violation of Air BnB’s policy. We were here for my mothers 65th birthday and the poor conditions ruined the experience.

Esta estadía fue realmente perfecta. Primero que nada, mil gracias a Ricardo que estuvo a nuestra disposición todos los días y a toda hora, contestando de inmediato y resolviendo nuestras solicitudes muy rápido siempre. La casa es preciosa, mejor aun que en las fotos, salida directa a la playa de arena blanca. La piscina es exquisita, la fueron a limpiar cada dos o tres días. Todo, absolutamente todo estaba impecabe, especialmente la cocina, toda la vajilla radiente. Las camas muy cómodas. SolO comentar que una de las 5 piezas comparte espacio con la pieza principal. La cocina esta full equipada, el aire acondicionado funciona perfecto, los baños amplios y bellos. El entorno de la casa es tranquilo, hay donde comprar cerca y un supermercado grande a minutos en auto. Pasamos gran parte de nuestra estadía en la casa y realmente fue un agrado, todo funcionó perfecto. En la terraza hay muchas reposeras para tomar sol y el mar tiene un poco de algas sólo al principio. TREMENDO AIRBNB.

Eduardo and Ricardo were very responsive at all times. The house has spacious rooms and AC in each room. The house definitely needs some love and we found that the surroundings are very poor, such as trash and debris around the road where the house is located. There is the niño beach nearby and it is rundown and the “restaurants” kiosks there are not very appetizing. We encountered a number of issues with the house that needed to be addressed. Water pressure was an issue around the house especially in the downstairs bathroom. The AC units in the downstairs leak and there is mold on the walls. The pool area is poorly maintained, it has two umbrella stands that don’t work and they “tried” to fix them with some rope. The grass area needs maintenance for sure. The beach in front the house has rocks and you need to wear water shoes to get in, it has sargasso which we had to ask Ricardo to send someone to clean it because it was smelly. Despite of the issues we had a great time together.
