Unique, spacious and beautifully designed home in a peaceful open setting. It is on a country highway (Route 2) which has some noise; the views of fields and river and hills are soothing. Plenty of room for a f ew adults. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of linens. Must drive to nearby village which is charming.

A stunningly beautiful house in a pristine natural setting, this place worked well for our family. The spiral staircase is a challenge for luggage, so we left luggage in the dining room which worked great. Thanks for a great stay.

Such a beautiful house! Really nice modern wood cabin feel. Very open and comfortable throughout, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen. Glad we chose this place!

As other reviewers have stated, the home is in a great location for visiting the Berkshires with beautiful views from every window. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The home is 10 minutes away from Charlemont and 3 minutes from the village of Shelburne Falls while still maintaining that private feeling.The one negative would be the gas grill. In the description under About this space-guest access it states "you will also have access to the screened in porch, which has a grill...." We double checked with the owner before we arrived and were told it is a gas grill and self-explanatory. That part was true, it is a gas grill and if you have used one before it is self-explanatory. The problem arose in that it was not a screened in porch, the screens were covered with plexiglass. That meant if you wanted to grill you in essence had to do it indoors with the two doors to the plexiglass porch open for ventilation. Our 2nd night we opted for take-out. Otherwise, we had a great stay.
