Roger and his wife are truly amazing hosts. Lovely people! They go out of their way to make sure that you’re comfortable and enjoying your stay. The breakfast was delicious. They made fresh juices for us after our hikes, gave great recommendations, and even personally escorted us to special hiking spots. At one point, Roger even helped carry my daughter while I carried my dog. We live just a few hours away and will be coming back again soon.

The Lodge was beautiful, with great amenities that are shared with only a few rooms. They have local contacts to do other activities like hikes and chocolate tours, but also a very well-maintained trail on site that leads to beautiful views and really cool jungle. A very relaxing and quiet place to stay and enjoy some real Costa Rica! Roger and everyone else there was so nice and amazing.

From the minute we arrived Roger and Rosa did everything to make our stay perfect. They were responsive to our questions about what to do and where to go. We enjoy cooking when we travel and had a fun night with some other guests from Germany and Canada sharing a meal and a delicious bottle of wine. A fun night in a beautiful setting. We hiked on the property a couple of days, swam in the pool and enjoyed Rosa's fabulous breakfasts. I will miss the fresh fruit smoothies every morning! Definitely a special spot in Costa Rica!

Rogers place is simply magical. Truly could not have asked for a more unique experience. He was so helpful with helping us book activities too. This is a bucket list destination.

Roger and Rosie were the sweetest hosts and they served an amazing breakfast, everything with a smile. The place has amazing walking trails, gorgeous gardens and a super refreshing pool. The pool table in the lodge was a plus. Easy parking and very safe and peaceful.
