If you are looking for a homely Airbnb, you are in the right place. The serene surroundings made my stay excellent. I do not intend to go very personal, but I had a series of challenges, but Ron and Sarah were handy to help out. First, I arrived in Ashland for a new job looking for a long-term lease. They helped me with tips on finding a place to rent and also guided me on areas that I should avoid concerning safety. I needed to extend my stay well beyond the anticipated number of days and it was hard for me financially. Both Ron and Sarah showed a good understanding. I unintentionally locked my car key in the trunk while the car doors were all locked! Ron and Sarah were supportive in providing info on where to get the needed service to open the trunk. Sarah and Ron were incredibly welcoming hosts with a charming home. Communication from booking to arrival was excellent. The house, adorned with local antiques, was impeccably clean and organized. Its convenient location made it an ideal choice for my meetings in Ashland. Engaging conversations with the hosts provided valuable insights into the area, and the added joy of spending time with their delightful dogs, Pip and Toby, was a delightful bonus.

I stayed for one night only at Ron and Sara's lovely airbnb but it was an amazing stay! I am doing a road trip through the US and did not have a precise time of arrival, but they were understanding and helpful. When I arrived, Ron greeted me and then we talked for several hours about his life, the house, different aspects about the USA I had experienced through my travel, the world, etc. It was a very interesting and enlightening conversation. In the morning, Ron made me a delicious brekfast with homemade bread, jams, their own eggs and some delicious bacon. Then I was lucky to meet Sarah, their dogs and the new puppy. It was a wonderful experience and difficult to leave. If you like the description, this is the best stay! :)

Sarah met me when I arrived and helped carry my things upstairs. She also offered, and helped me get them down the next morning. The breakfast blueberry muffin was delicious.

If your on a budget, this is a great place and you can’t beat the price. The hosts were really nice and offered breakfast before I left. Its an older farmhouse, but it was spotless and the room was fairly large. Although the rooms are not air conditioned, there are fans and the temperature was perfect. I would recommend this place
