We loved the place! There were little touches that made us feel right at home. The kitchen was well-stocked. The hot tub was so relaxing. I loved the decor of the place so much I took pics for inspo later! The location is perfect, right near the beginning of Road to Hana. There is also a restaurant right down the way 5 min away. Maggie was a great host I enjoyed chatting with her and her pups were adorable.

John and Maggie’s space was delightful and quaint, with gorgeous landscaping and a distant view of the ocean. The location was ideal for traveling around on a daily basis whether it be for a day trip to the national parks or a quick coffee run, but also felt private and peaceful with some great forest driving. Thank you for opening your home to us for an adventurous vacation!

Hard to leave this lovely place; wish we could have stayed longer! It was a wonderful retreat to return to at night; one of my favorite airbnbs over the years. Serene and peaceful surroundings, with a beautiful garden and sliver of ocean visible in the distance (on clear days). Great location for Haleakala and Hana. Though close to the road, noise was not a problem since the location is rural and quiet. Comfortable bed, well-stocked kitchen, generous loaning of extra towels, pillows, beach gear and hot tub use. Spacious cottage with a separate bedroom. Pleasant and helpful hosts.

This was a great place to start our vacation. It was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet and the location was perfect for the Road to Hana, shopping and dining. The hot tub was a nice bonus!

Beautiful small house perfect for 2. Close to the ocean and the mountain. Quiet and peaceful. Had everything we could need and the hot tub was a nice bonus for the chilly nights. There's other houses on the property but didn't really see any people. 10 minutes to Makawao and 15 to Paia.
