Mooie rustige omgeving, zeer zeer zeer rustig. Jammer dat het huis niet bereikbaar was met de auto, gezien wij op doorreis waren was het nogal sleuren met de valiezen. Ontbijt Spartaans. Goed om te ontpluggen van de bewoonde wereld.

Marina is absolutely charming, helpful, flexible and kind. The estate is very rustic, albeit overgrown, with a lovely rural atmosphere and the pool is wonderful with great views. But, although there’s a nice big patio, the room is disappointing. This is maximum 1-star, perhaps 2-star accommodation, with very cheap, dirty and worn interior. Furthermore, the room is small and had a strong musty smell due to the humidity & lack of ventilation which also meant the bed covers were extremely damp, making uncomfortable sleeping. For this price, it was poor value. I believe the newer rooms on the estate are better value. It was amazing and very helpful to receive such a detailed and long message of recommendations from Marina before arriving. But it’s worth noting that some of the restaurant recommendations seem outdated: both our experiences in Odeceixe were extremely disappointing. We’d recommend trying some of the newer places there. There’s also Varzea in Aljezur.

Casa Abobada is one of the best places we have ever stayed at, and this is why we decided to come back after our first visit in 2018. It is quiet, immersed in the nature of a magnificient estate. We lived slowly for a few days and totally disconnected from the buzz of everyday life. Perfect for lovers of countryside (like us) and the ocean is a 5-minutes drive away with plenty of wild beaches. We already miss the amazing bread delivered every morning and reading by the pool. The room service, Marina´s support and Catarina´s recommendations were spot on. We look forward to coming back

Encore merci pour ce weekend. Cet emplacement est incroyable. Calme et reposant. Avec une panorama superbe sur la vallée. Tout proche de l'océan et des plages environnantes.

Óptima estadia, num lugar especial. As construções estão muito bem reabilitadas e proporcionam uma vela experiência.
