It’s hard to find the right words to sum up our stay at Lakeview Villa but perfection and heaven seem close to it. This was arguably the best holiday we have ever had with the most sensational welcome, views, accommodation, hospitality and food imaginable. The photos are exquisite but don’t quite do it justice! We wanted to stay forever. An extra special thank you to Sonali and her beautiful family for spoiling us with sublime (and copious!) food every day and helping us organise our brilliant day trips. We cannot wait to come back. Thank you so much for sharing your villa with us.

My family and I just finished our stay at Lesley’s villa and we had such an amazing time. The villa was beautiful and private. We loved watching the local wild life around the property, and my kids loved playing in the pool. The house staff was friendly and so helpful with planning our daily excursions. Sonali cooked for us daily, and while there are great restaurants to visit locally, we didn’t want to miss her meals. Lesley was an amazing host and made sure we were all set up with information and local activities to better plan our vacation before we even arrived. She answered any questions we had while staying at the villa promptly, and her and her husband were so incredibly kind and gracious. We will be recommending their property to any of our friends and family planning to visit Sri Lanka.

Our stay at Lakeview Villa was one of the highlights of our trip. The house, gardens and setting are all beautiful and Sonali and Lasantha, the housekeepers, were friendly, attentive and always happy to help. Sonali's home cooked breakfast and dinners were also exceptional! Lesley and Ken were brilliant hosts too - excellent communication and full of recommendations. We'd highly recommend staying at Lakeview Villa and hope to come back in the future!

We had a wonderful time at Lakeview Villa. From the very first interactions on the app with Lesley, who was helpful and made us feel very welcome, to meeting Ken at the property for a fascinating guided tour and then on to enjoying Sonali and Lisantha’s first-class hosting, the whole week was just perfect. Lakeview Villa will live long in the memory. The views, the incredible food, the pool and the local outings all contributed to a unique and special stay. Thank you also to the legions of local tuktuk drivers, tour guides and proud Sri Lankans who left us with the very best impression of a wonderful country.

A++! PERFECT for our 2 families with 4 teens. So sad to go after 4 days! A true paradise. Plenty of space in the house & garden for each to enjoy. Stunning lake view, gorgeous sunsets. Kids had a blast spotting the many wildlife and bugs (lots). I fear bugs but managed just fine. AC super for cool night's sleep. Waking up to birds and monkeys running on roof was refreshing. Pool: fantastic, especially after hot day of exploring. On arrival, tuktuks were waiting to take us to the villa (our van was too big for the last stretch). Sonali and Lasantha greeted us. We cannot thank them enough. It wouldn't have been the same without them. They happily shared their knowledge; helped organize lake safari, massages, shopped for food, pots, spices, drinks. Sonali's cooking is INCREDIBLE. Even our pickiest eaters were willing to try "since Sonali cooked it". We cleaned up every dish. All requests were accommodated. Strongly recommend Lakeview to anyone looking for a unique adventure.
