Nous avons passé une très belle semaine à la Villa de Gloria. David était là pour nous accueillir et nous faire visiter la maison. L’arrivée en voiture peu s’avérer difficile car le chemin est étroit et pas facile quand on n’a pas l’habitude de conduire à gauche mais avec de la pratique aucun soucis les jours suivants. La maison est spacieuse avec 3 chambres un beau salon et une cuisine, et une terrasse extérieur pour profiter des soirées. Non loin de la maison vous trouverez 2 petits Corner shop dont un préparant du poulet grillé. Bonne localisation pour visiter l’île. Nous recommandons

While the experience left much to be desired, it's important to note some areas for improvement. The property felt dated. A significant issue was the damaged window mesh, which allowed mosquitoes to freely enter, making it feel as though one was sleeping outdoors. The absence of air conditioning meant that closing the windows wasn't a viable option to mitigate this. Additionally, the location's remoteness presented challenges; it was a 20-minute walk to the nearest bus station for Portsmouth, making travel difficult for that side. The local shops offered limited edible options, and the absence of nearby restaurant compounded the inconvenience, especially for those without a car.

The Villa is excellent. Very clean and comfortable and very well equipped. Although it’s a bit out of the way it appears on G o o g l e maps so was easy to find, even in the pitch black and pouring rain as when we arrived. Car is essential. And don’t make it a gas guzzling monster or you’ll struggle with the narrow lanes. David came to meet us seems an excellent fella, friendly, helpful all that good stuff. There’s not a lot to do really in walking distance, but the excellent Mero beach is 10 minutes away by car.
