We had a wonderful stay at Villa Verde. The whole apartment is comfortable and pleasant -- the fans worked very well to keep us cool at night, the beds were comfortable, everything worked properly. But it's the terrace that makes the place -- if you have a morning to kill, you can happily spend it out there and feel like you're just chilling in a resort. Also a lovely place to sit out in the evening and watch night fall. The view is wonderful, the furniture comfy. Patricia was away while we stayed there but her neighbour Joe Scott was there to greet us and checked in regularly that all was well. A couple of tips -- the house is at the "top of the town," (hence the great view) and the last stretch of road is rather rough. It's OK -- you'll get used to it! Her instructions for getting there are perfect. If you get caught short with nothing for dinner, there's a fellow on the main street that sells BBQ chicken and ribs -- just ask and people will send you there!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Patricia. Le quartier est très vivant et authentique, on s’est vraiment sentis en Dominique et les gens du voisinage ont tous été très accueillants et agréables avec nous. Scott nous a très gentiment accueillis et Patricia malgré son absence est restée très disponible pour nous. Ma fille a eu un souci de santé et Patricia m’a indiqué des endroits où aller, des médecins à consulter et a gentiment pris de ses nouvelles. On conseille l’adresse !

Patricia est une hôte très reactive et toujours prête à répondre aux sollicitations. Ses conseils aviséso t été précieux. C'est une personne très aimable. Le logement dispose d'une vue imprenable, avec un extérieur très agréable. Petit bémol sur la propreté de la cuisine. Notre séjour a été très agréable ! merci.

Amazing stay in Dominica! The terrace and view alone should be enough to convince you. We spent a lovely 10 days here. We loved just sitting outside and soaking up the view. There are also plenty of hummingbirds to spot. The terrace is well ventilated and shaded most of the day. The apartment itself is also well ventilated and had a pleasant temperature. It’s spacious and well equipped. There’s everything to make meals and all basics are provided (bathroom & kitchen). It’s not a modern apartment, but very comfortable. It is in a lively neighbourhood, but mostly quiet at night. We were certainly never kept from sleeping, despite going to bed early. The location is a bit far out - you should definitely rent a car if you’re staying here. It’s sort of equidistant to many ‘highlights’, with most, bar the very close by Mero beach, being around a 40min+ drive. Pattie and Scott were both lovely, provided many tips and made our stay comfortable.
