這是我第一次出國，也是第一次使用Airbnb，無可避免的，也會擔心。 但Ruth給我的第一印象就像是鄰居媽媽，來到這裡不像是住旅館，而像是比較像是Homestay。這裡不像一般Hostel有提供地圖，但如果想要去任何地方，只要和Ruth說一聲，她就會親切熱情的馬上拿紙筆手繪一張住民版地圖給你，還會告訴你可以去哪裡搭車，應該要搭什麼。Ruth媽媽很喜歡接待來自世界各地的青年，我住在她們家的期間，不但遇到了台灣人，也遇到了中國人、美國人以及Ruth 媽媽的朋友菲律賓人，如果是喜歡交朋友的旅行者，一定不能錯過。印象最深刻的是，住約期滿的最後一天晚上，我發燒了，Ruth不但親切的照顧我，還特地煮了一鍋對感冒極好的 Arroz Caldo給我吃。這裡的價錢很實在，房間很像家，空調什麼一應具全，Ruth 媽媽和他兒子自己睡的地方卻是很不講究；她們是把最好的留給客人了。套用一句Ruth朋友的話，在這裡你住不到更好的家庭了。

Ruth is one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever met. She ensures that her guests feel at home right away and frequently checks to see if you need anything. The house is always clean and peaceful, and the kitchen is now brand new. As for the location, the neighborhood is very calm and safe, surrounded by beautiful nature. There are plenty of delicious Asian food options, and the subway station is an enjoyable 15-minute walk away (there is also a bus available). The 7 metro line goes straight to Times Square and is well connected to other places in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I am incredibly grateful to have found this Airbnb for my first experience in New York City!

Great host, took care of any issues right away. It’s a family home, so that’s the atmosphere you’ll be getting. Ruth is very sweet and knows how to create a welcoming atmosphere. Quiet neighborhood, close to tranquil Kissena park and great food in the area. 15min walk to the train.

Where to begin, staying at Ms Ruth’s place was like having a second home. From the moment I checked in she was super nice, friendly, and welcoming. The environment was warm and inviting and honestly the best airbnb I have stayed in. Ms Ruth is the best hostess anyone could ever hope for. When you stay there you are like one of the family. Finding her place was a blessing when I moved and I was actually able to extend my stay for a few weeks until I managed to find an apartment of my own that I only hope to create an environment as warm and comfortable as staying with Ms Ruth was. Thank you again for allowing me to stay in your home, I wish you nothing but the best in the future!!
