Had a wonderful stay at Carmels place in Drumshanbo. its right in the centre of town with the Gala shop, pubs and the Sheds Distillery all within walking distance. The house was perfect for a group of people and was very cozy. Carmel was able to accommodate our late check in and was there when we arrived. We had a fantastic weekend visiting the Gunpowder gin distillery, Arigina mines and Jinnys bakery (they've the best cream buns). There are great walks close by with clear trails for the Miners Way. It's a ten minute drive to Leitrim village where we had a beautiful meal in the Barge. Would highly recommend a stay at Carmels to sample some of Leitrims best offerings.
