We had the most wonderful time here. Spending a peaceful time looking down to the river, hot air balloons drifting overhead as the sun set. Christophe welcomed us, he made the day for us with his huge smile and kindness. Such a fantastic gentleman! In the early mornings, as the mist lay like a blanket over the river, look up, the sun rising and peeking up across by the château, drifting in silence, a hot air balloon. An image to start with you for every day of your life. Take a walk at night to the castle, stop to look around in the golden light of the lamps that make an evocative image of a more calm and peaceful time, long ago.

This is truly a beautiful apartment in a stunning setting. We did find it tricky to find as the gps location was different to the actual road which threw us off and we ended up pulling our luggage up a pretty impressive hill to get there, not for the faint hearted! There was a bit of noise upstairs/next to the bedroom but the host and neighbours were kind and receptive to our requests to tone it down. The view out over the Dordogne was beautiful and we loved sitting out in the little garden watching the sun set. The kitchen was spotless and we cooked in easily. Bathroom and bedroom clean and perfectly cool and functional. Overall a great stay - thank you!

Un logement au top , un accueil parfait : Christophe a su nous accueillir comme il se doit, il nous a mené au logement avec sa voiture ( nous a aidé aussi au moment de partir), il s'est rendu disponible au besoin. C'est un appartement avec terrasse/jardinet très joli, bien entretenu, refait à neuf, tout équipé, seul petit bémol : la literie est en retrait par rapport au reste. La vue de la terrasse est surprenante et réellement très belle, elle restera dans nos yeux pendant longtemps.... Merci, nous reviendrons volontiers!

We had a wonderful stay here. The views were spectacular, the historic area and the castle were amazing, and the accommodations exceeded expectations in spaciousness and comfort. The kitchen was modern, fully equipped and the bathrooms were modern and flawless. Bed was really comfortable. Be prepared for a significant walk up the hill, but it is definitely worth it. We would love to return someday.

Le logement est superbe ! Très bien décoré et très confortable. L’agence qui gère la location est à l’écoute. Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances.
