This was not an enjoyable stay. The kitchen dishes were incredibly dirty full of caked on gunk. The noise from upstairs was loud. And worst of all - our bedroom was next to the bathroom door that hadn't been oiled in forever and squeaked so loud it woke me up early into the night and early in the morning. And I never ever wake up early into the night. Also the pictures show the whole house but you don't get to use anything except the basement. Very misleading despite confirming use of the common areas with the host. First and last time doing a shared bathroom setup on airbnb. Part of the issue was other guests but part of it should be the host's responsibility for making sure guests have a safe environment. One lady there was sniffling and clearly sick so that precluded use of all the shared space. The other couple fought late at night and first thing in the morning and the walls block no noise so it was hard to fall and stay asleep. Also someone left period blood all over the bathroom though luckily that got cleaned up quickly.

Overall the space was clean, nice, and comfortable. The listing was a little misleading b/c it stated there was a private bath. I noticed the owner had one other Airbnb listing for this same property with a shared bath, so I msg’d her prior to booking to confirm. She stated this listing would also be a shared bath (private bath would be $175/night). My husband and I stayed in a spacious and comfortable room in the basement where there were two other rooms, and I believe all these rooms were sharing one bathroom, so it can be a little tricky in the morning trying to get ready if everyone is showering then. There was a little bar/kitchenette area with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee/tea, etc. The home is located in a beautiful upscale neighborhood with paths to walk, and about a 20 minute walk to coffee shops, restaurants, Canadian Tire, grocery store, etc. Overall we would recommend this listing!

I went to Vancouver with my husband and we stayed at Jenny’s place in Surrey for 2 nights.. The place was nice and clean.. We loved our stay and the host was easily available when needed.. The place is cozy and smells nice. We would love to stay again..
