I stayed in Pam’s beautiful, historic, 100-year-old Storybook home for three months and loved it. Pam is a wonderful, warmhearted woman, who has equipped the guest rooms with everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Tasteful furnishings, your own area to prepare light meals, with a water kettle, fridge, microwave, coffee grinder, pour-over coffee filter, toaster, nice dishes, cleaning supplies, wonderful cotton bed linen, a desk with a view of the yard and the towering Eucalyptus trees, fast WiFi for working from home, and plenty of easy, free street parking. The house sits on a large lot, and reminded me of a Medieval English cottage. The room I stayed in was under the eaves of the steeply pitched roof, comfortable, private, cosy - but not small, and very quiet. If you love the special feel of historic homes and architecture, this is a great place for you!

I needed a place to crash at for a month while I hunted for an apartment. I found Pam’s place and immediately booked because of the great reviews and great deal. Pam is super responsive and kind and does anything she can to make your stay as comfortable as possible! At first, I was worried about sharing a bathroom with 3-4 other people but it was literally never a problem. The room is so darn charming! I absolutely loved all the windows and natural light that would come in. (Beware of some spider guys though if you leave the windows open 24/7) Overall, I had a lovely stay. Thanks again Pam!

I stayed here for about 3 Months. Pam was a fantastic host. Very responsive and attentive while giving me the distance I expect (not being overbearing). the room was large and the bed was comfortable. No complaints whatsoever. I have seen some negative reviews about things that are clearly listed in the amenities and description. everything is exactly as described so there should not be any unexpected things. as for the location, some reviews framed the place as located in the middle of a dangerous neighborhood. this is absolutely false. In my 3 months, I did not notice once anyone suspicious and never felt unsafe. I left expensive things in my car by accident and it never gotten broken into. Neither did any of the neighbors cars. it is no more dangerous than any other part of the city or surrounding area. in summary, the place was great and I have no complaints whatsoever.

Amazing room with plenty of windows and light coming in. Nice slanted room makes it feel cozy but not claustrophobic. Pam is an amazing character. She is very educated and full of great conversations.
