It was a very good stay at villa augusta. Andrea was very kind and helped us with a lot of stuff. Highly recommend it!

Andrea war ein sehr guter Gastgeber, der immer erreichbar war. Seine beiden Mitarbeiter waren sehr sympathisch und haben sich aufmerksam um das Haus und den Garten gekümmert. Das Grundstück ist sehr ruhig gelegen und bietet durch den Garten optimale Gelegenheit zur Entspannung. Von der Terrasse hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick. Das Haus eignet sich optimal für große Gruppen, besonders die am Pool gelegene Außenküche ist ein Highlight des Hauses.

Bedbug-infested - beware! The villa's exterior shows well, pre-arrival communication was good, and the on-site manager went out of his way to accommodate us. However, the interior is shabby, there are maintenance problems like a constantly running toilet, showers that spill onto bathroom floors, doors that can't be closed without sticking shut, and locking guests inside. What cannot be excused was a severe bedbug infestation that left 2 guests with welts over their bodies and 14 more guests who now felt unsafe. Once we identified the source of the bites, evidence of a long-term infestation (their casings and excrement), could be seen on the walls behind pictures and on the wooden bedframes. After being alerted with photo documentation, the owner stopped responding to direct communication. We scrambled to find a hotel and lost a travel day due to taking precautions to disinfect clothing and luggage. 16 people were impacted without any reply, apology, or compensation from the owner.
