I have so very much to say about my extended stay of 3+ months at Monique’s place, but above all else the biggest thing to share is that I felt right at home. Monique made certain that I had everything I needed and frequently invited me to join her husband and kids for family dinner. I always felt warm and comfortable in my room and really had more than I needed or even expected during my stay here. Monique was very social and interested in my life and work, and made constant recommendations about places to visit and things to do in the area. I always enjoyed the company of the family and their two very personable dogs. Staying here has, without a doubt, raised my expectations for Airbnb stays to the absolute highest level of quality, as this was that. If you are looking for total solitude this may not be the place for you as this is an often busy household, but if you are looking for a comfortable stay with incredibly kind and caring people, this is absolutely the place.

I enjoyed my stay with Monique and have no complaints. I was working 14 hour days and needed a bed/place to hang my hat that was close to work and Seaglass fit the bill. I had a comfortable bed and a desk and flat screen TV. Monique did well to ensure my stay was satisfactory and invited me to eat with the family from time to time. Overall, a very good stay for me.

I had a positive comfortable experience. The accommodations were exactly as described in this lovely historic home of character. Communication was excellent; Monique was consistently communicative, responsive, accommodating and happy to share advice in deciphering the nuances of a city that was new to me… which I found profoundly helpful. As a person who leans toward introversion, I was unsure of how I would feel staying with other people. My space and I were respected from the moment I arrived (even the dogs). The house is located far off the street mitigating neighborhood noise. Their dogs are friendly and rarely bark. I experienced no unusual or excessive toddler noise in 3 months. I enjoyed starting my day near the positive energy of a vivacious little human joyfully amazed by the little things we adults have long found commonplace. Their older child is cerebral, intelligent and respectful of others. I recommend their place to anyone looking for safe comfortable place to stay.

Sea Glass was a very pleasant and comfortable place to stay and our hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with. They went out of their way to see that our needs were met and provided breakfast and conversation in the morning. Would happily stay there again.
