Kick back & relax in this calm, stylish space. Located just 6 minutes walk from the bustling part of trendy Observatory where there are many restaurants, bars & shops. Just 50m down the road is a large public field too, perfect for exercising. This beautifully renovated North facing Victorian home has high ceilings and Oregon pine wooden floors throughout. The open plan living area is bright and sunny with a piping hot fireplace for the winter months. The stacking doors open out fully onto a sheltered outdoor space with a private swimming pool and shaded seating area - perfect for socialising, having a braai (barbecue) or lazing about reading a book. The swimming pool ledge has the perfect spot to do yoga/exercises from too btw. The bedroom on offer is at the other end of the house - so it’s quiet from the living areas. A spacious and great desk to work from with a large screen and good sound system as well as a standing desk assembled on request. The three quarter/small double sleeper couch bed is definitely more suited to one person unless you love to spoon all night. It’s firm and is fitted with good quality Egyptian cotton bedding. A single extra camping mattress and bedding can be arranged on the floor if necessary. During power cuts the uncapped internet will still fully run and we have a large power bank that will power the living area for the duration of the cuts - running a light, the TV, surround sound system and to charge any devices. My home is quiet, safe and securely fitted with the best alarm systems and easy button-access to all the doors and gates. You need to be 100% dog friendly to stay here! Please do contact me prior to booking if you are wanting to bring a dog with you to make sure they will be compatible with Matches (most dogs are!) Matches is not cat friendly unfortunately.
