I loved my stay at this cottage! The location is absolutely perfect to enjoy all that Leelanau peninsula has to offer. The property is beautiful, peaceful, exactly as described/pictured. The care the owners have invested into this home is evident before you even open its door. If you’re looking for a home base that’s comfortable for staying in/relaxing AND great access for going out explore to the surrounding areas, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here *any* time I had the opportunity to do so. It's hard to describe how unique a stay at Melissa's modern farmhouse is. The property description is spot-on, so I won't repeat that here. This cottage is at the corner of a large farm at the northern end of Cedar. The setting is peaceful, with hay fields, woods, and open land in every direction. Morning sunlight over the trees to the east was a treat while having coffee in the living room or on one of the porches. Sunsets through the abundant kitchen windows while making dinner or planning your evening were also relaxing. Cedar is well-placed and is a quick trip to Glen Arbor, Leland, or Traverse City. The cottage is well-appointed and has everything we need. We wouldn't change a thing. Don't hesitate to book a stay at this location: it's beautiful. We hope we can come back and stay again soon!

We were able to enjoy the beautiful fall color and peace of a quiet weekend at Melissa’s Airbnb. It was ADORABLE, well kept & more than I expected. All the little details were thought of and it was incredibly cute. We spent the weekend as a “moms” weekend where we came to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Truly enjoyed our experience.
