A brilliant choice for staying in Sierra Vista. Very green surroundings, full of birds and great views. Betty has many bird feeders and the place is alive with wildlife. Sundowner is very comfortable, Clean with a good library of local information and references. It is very near all of the favoured hiking and birdwatching canyons. Thank you Betty.

Staying at the Sundowner was an absolute delight! Betty is a wonderful and kind person and host who has thought of everything for a great stay. The place is remote enough to have incredible views of the Huachuca mountains and all the of its beautiful canyons and yet close enough to gas, food and groceries (although we did have some great BBQ at Bam Bam BBQ nearby.) The Sundowner is so cozy--the bed and couch are very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need to cook meals, and birding/naturalist books, games, stocked bird feeders and a walking path right outside the front door will keep you occupied. Did I say birding? Wow. Talk about a hotspot-we saw more birds and different kinds of birds in the Huachucas than anywhere else in AZ. I can see why many Airbnb folks book return stays here -I know we will! Thank you, Betty, for providing such a special place.

Betty’s place is one of the nicest we’ve stayed in. The location puts you walking distance to great walking, hiking, and biking areas. The cottage has everything you’d need to make your stay very comfortable for 2 nights or many more. Betty is such a friendly person full of good information and tips for the surrounding area. We will for sure be back for more time to spend there. Thanks, Betty! ❤️

This has been one of the nicest airbnb stays we have had. Perfect for those who want a quiet, peaceful stay in a lovely location near outdoor activities, particularly excellent birding. But we spent a lot of time just relaxing in the yard watching birds and other wildlife. Berry is an absolutely lovely person; so warm and welcoming.
