Really good WiFi. The town is built along a narrow ridge that drops away on both sides. The amazing view was obscured by power lines. It was cold and windy the day I was there. The hosts were very welcoming and concerned with my comfort. The house however is worn and run down. Bed was uncomfortable. Blankets seemed dusty. The other rooms might be better.

The weather was terrible when we got to haputale The welcome was good at the white place Our room was very small and the lino on the floor was all ripped in several places, decor was not good Photos were not accurate

White is very kind and helpful. They would do their best to make sure that you enjoy your stay. They even provide rice and curry dinner if you request, all home made. Double blankets to ensure you are warm at night. Thank you, White

We stayed for the night and found it easy to commute to Adisham Bungalow, Lipton Seat and Ella. The views from the top stair of the house are spectacular! The hosts are friendly people and can help you with travel tips in and around Haputale. Just don’t expect a sparkling clean space and good food options in the town.

We stayed here for 1 night so we could go to Lipton’s Seat. The host picked us up from the bus station in tuk tuk (I think this was around 450lkr). We enjoyed a nice dinner at White Home of veg curry & rice. Aslam kindly drove us to Lipton’s Seat at 4:45am so we could watch the sunrise. This cost 1800lkr. The room was fairly comfortable but we did not find the linen/blankets particularly clean.
