This charming cottage is located in a peaceful, serene environment with beautiful surroundings. The lake is a quick walk in either direction, and the neighborhood feels safe and friendly. The decor is funky and fun, with something to appeal to everyone! Christine has done a great job outfitting the place with comfortable seating, games to play and books to read, and kitchen/bathroom essentials. It can get chilly at night; if the weather calls for temperatures below 60, I recommend bringing long sleeved pajamas and pants, and maybe a pair of fuzzy socks or slippers (there are also plenty of extra blankets and a space heater to help with the chill). The highlight of this house is definitely the inviting screened-in porch, which is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, or to eat a meal! The pictures don‘t do this place justice - you will have to see it for yourself! Great for singles or couples, and dog friendly, too! Would stay here again.

The place was just what I wanted. Cozy and comfortable. It was Close to tons of hiking trails and access to the lake. So Many warm touches by Christine made my stay very pleasant right from the brownies waiting for me on arrival!

Christine’s was just what we needed for a peaceful weekend away! Close to grocery stores, restaurants, and hiking! The lake was lovely and neighbors friendly. We were so pleased to get away with our dog and enjoy the area. Christine was responsive, her place clean, and I was super impressed with the little touches like amenities and a welcome gift! Would definitely come back

Beautiful and quiet cottage with tons of special touches. I was in town for three weeks for work, and the cottage was extremely well-equipped with everything I needed to live and work. It’s a beautiful location and Christine was an excellent host!

Christine’s place is so charming. From the moment we walked onto the screen in porch, we felt right at home. It had everything we needed. We use the kitchen which was very well stocked. Had every pan we needed along with parchment paper, saran and foil. It was an easy three or four minute walk to the lake. It was wonderful sitting on the screened in porch for a meal, and everything was so comfortable. We definitely go again.
