I had a nice time at Nell's. I was in and out, but the times I was able to hang a little bit it was clear that Nell likes being a host and it shows further in all the thoughtful touches throughout the home and her good communication. Thanks Nell for having me, I really appreciated being able to stay at your home!

It was heaven to float in Nell's lovely pool on a hot summer day. Nell and Adam are a lovely couple, warm and welcoming. its obvious they put a lot of time into their local guidebook which covered a wide range of eateries and interesting places to visit. They have a huge music collection on CDs and are very willing to let the houseguest determine the music.

We visited Cold Springs, NY for hiking in October. My boyfriend is an adventurous person, who believes in the beauty of spontaneity, so we didn’t book a hotel in advance. After calling many local hotels, we had almost given up as everything was overbooked and overpriced ($200-300 the cheapest). We found Eleanor on AirBNB at the last moment, she replied to us right away, saying that she has a room available. She has provided us with the clear directions how to get to her place. She even sent us a picture of the house so we could easily find it. The house is impeccably clean and very, very cozy. You have a feeling like you are home. Everything is super organized. Maps, booklets, cards featuring local attractions, places to eat, local art galleries etc. are conveniently placed on the table. You will also find the list of the phone numbers you can call in case of emergency and precise instructions how to log into the Wi-Fi or even turn the TV on. Clean towels are provided as well. Everything is well thought out, from convenience to entertainment to visitor’s safety. We were thoroughly impressed! Eleanor’s hospitality is remarkable, and she really took her time to help us out with where we can go and what we can do in town. She made us feel like home, and we wished we could have stayed longer. It was a great experience, the one that you would never get staying at a hotel.
