Coleen’s Mom’s place is an adorable home right on the lake. We were there in spring and cozied up in the house when it was windy. It felt like being in my grandma’s house. We used our time to explore beacon and went into nyc one day without issue. The home was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed.

What a charming stay! The lake house was perfect. You have huge views of the lake from every front room. The place is decorated with lovely period antiques so you get a special feeling of visiting not just a different place but a different time. It really did feel like staying a relative's place. We were there during a cold spell so I was a bit worried a historic lake house would be drafty but the house was very warm and cozy. Great heat and pressure in the shower. Went kayaking and it was really peaceful and fun out on the water. As a host, Coleen couldn't have been a more responsive or generous. (My son especially appreciated the basket of snacks after a long drive!) Would love to come again!

Mom’s place is so welcoming. You feel like you are visiting your parents home. The view of the lake is gorgeous. Really a special place. So happy we came for a visit. Coleen is an excellent attentive host.
