We had a wonderful time staying here! Sunshine had excellent recommendations to get the most of our stay on this side of the island and we also enjoyed eating at their restaurant below. The view from the patio is lovely (especially sunsets!) and the open airy layout is heaven. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, checking in/out was easy, we always felt safe including parking our scooter inside their gate, and thoroughly enjoyed exploring everything nearby (amazing beaches, reefs, and trails!). Thanks for everything Sunshine! We hope to be back soon :)

Westpunt and our stay with Sunshine was exactly what our family needed. The rural area allowed us to feel and live Curacao with the locals. We could walk to 3 different beaches; excellent food was close by too. The photos do not do justice to the beautiful and relaxed accommodations. We felt at home by day 2! We can't wait to visit again and explore the areas we didn't get to see! Hearts are in Curacao.

We loved staying at Sunshine’s place. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were clean (with luxurious towels), the kitchen was easy to use for small meals at home. Things that make it unique- the back porch has a great breeze, making it pleasant to hangout at all times of the day and made a great spot to retreat to when you’re done with the beach but don’t want to feel closed up inside. The short walk to Playa Piskado (swim with the turtles) and Playa Kalki (soft sand) was nice and only a 10 min drive to Shete Boka. We ate at Sol Food once and got pizza from them to eat upstairs twice - all really good! Don’t forget to order their brownie sundaes- yummy!!! One piece of advice for sleeping- we planned to just sleep with the windows open because the temperature and breeze was so pleasant. The first night there was a lot of dog barking throughout the neighborhood and lots of roosters in the morning. Closing windows and running AC easily covered both and made it easy to sleep after 😁
