We all had such a lovely time staying in Monica’s beautiful flat!! It is absolutely stunning and I wished when I was leaving I could somehow transport it to London with me!! It is very much a loved home with well chosen pictures, ornaments and books on display. We either walked back and forward to the centre 30-40 mins each way or jumped on tram 4 which you could pick up 5 mins away. We spent our days exploring and then had somewhere wonderful and quiet to return to chill out and eat together. We all absolutely loved the little balcony in the living room happily taking in the view of the river. Monica was great to deal with and answered any queries straight away and checked on how we were getting on from time to time. Wouldn’t hesitate to return when I’m back in Amsterdam next!!

Lovely house situated overlooking the River Amstel. Cosy and very comfortable. Was a little bit of a walk into the centre (30-40 mins) which didn’t mind, we are avid walkers. Lots of local bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets if you want to stay close by. Would definitely stay here again.

La estancia en casa de Mónica ha sido inmejorable. Siempre respondía a los mensajes con rapidez y amabilidad. Matsyendra, su compañero, nos recibió muy atentamente y nos dió muchas indicaciones que nos vinieron estupendamente. La casa es muy bonita, tal y como muestran las fotos. Thanks to Monica, we had a perfect stay in Amsterdam. The location itself is worthy of five stars. The river location is both scenic and peaceful. It’s possible to sit and decompress in front of the big windows or up on the roof for hours. The owners have obviously taken great care of the property. It is very well-maintained and adorned with unique and fascinating decor. Monica is incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with. We rented bikes and location-wise, found that the city was at our feet. We were at riverside cafes, train stations, and great bars in minutes. Stay here for a perfect Amsterdam holiday!

We are a family of four traveling for 10 weeks with a 10 & 12 year old. We cannot say enough great things about this flat - it’s positively lovely in every way, and it really added to our experience in Amsterdam because it is a typical/authentic flat for the city (including the stairs, ha!). Everything about the flat felt more luxurious than many places we’ve stayed, and the entire flat has a peaceful and relaxing vibe. We had no problem getting anywhere in the city on the Metro - the stop for the No. 4 is about a 5-6 minute walk from the flat, and there are plenty of coffee shops and breakfast options quite close. We would highly recommend Monica’s place for a stay - it was wonderful.
