Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort wohl. Casa San Gabriel ist ein kleines Paradies in der umbrischen Natur. Die Räumlichkeiten sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail und funktional eingerichtet. Alles hat perfekt funktioniert. Vielen Dank wir hatten mit unserem 1 jährigen Sohn eine unvergessliche Woche.
Casa san Gabriel was a wonderful stay. Nestled between vineyards and olive trees, the surroundings are magnificent, and so is the property itself. There are flowers and herbs everywhere around and on the cottages and everything was in bloom. The cottage itself was cosy, clean and had everything we needed. David and Christina are warm hosts with great knowledge of the region and were friendly, helpful and always responsive. 10/10
Un petit coin de paradis ! Literie très confortable, piscine incroyable, vue exceptionnelle… et la gentillesse des hôtes (leur vin est délicieux !). Nous espérons revenir un jour au domaine.
We had a peaceful and relaxing 5 nights at Christina's place. Christina was helpful and friendly whenever we needed advice. The grounds and surrounding countryside are beautiful. We arrived to find thoughtful provisions in the kitchen - Italian biscuits, cookies, fresh coffee, milk and cereal. Really handy after a long flight as there's not a grocery store in walking distance. There was also a lovely bottle of wine, bottled water and a couple of beers. Highly recommend lunch and wine tasting at nearby vineria, Chiesa Del Carmine - 25 min walk downhill from Christina's. Restaurant, Il Caldara (short drive away) was also excellent. There's a fab grocery store, Gala a 15 min drive away. Note for getting in and out - the surrounding roads are steep dirt and gravel. Our Fiat 500 hire car wasn't really the right car for the job and we had to take it v slow and gentle to avoid damage. Def recommend a 4wd or high clearance car if you're planning to visit. Amazing stay :-)
Super cozy cottage, beautifully situated in the stunning Umbrian montains. The hosts Chrissie and David were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. We loved our very relaxing time there.

I live at Casa San Gabriel in Italy with my husband and 2 children. We started our airbnb experience renting our own home Casa San Gabriel and now we look after other homes for our friends in the valley. We meet all our guests that come to visit here in Italy and are on hand to answer any problems. We are also renting my family holiday home Ferry Cottage in Orford. This is a much loved home and we are so happy that are now sharing it with other families. We have a lovely manager who is on site to answer any problems and look after our guests while they are at Ferry Cottage. We are always on the phone or email to answer any problems you have in Ferry Cottage.
