Living forest felt so magical, peaceful , natural, and holistic. I loved the sounds of the birds and the river. The outdoor yoga room was a welcoming space to use as well. The hammocks were much appreciated as well.

We loved everything about our stay at Johanna‘s oasis in the Jungle. The quietness and safety being there with our kids, the beautiful character of Johanna that is reflected in everything, the sauna and the dip in the little river in the jungle, the proximity to the surf spot. Many thanks!

Amazing place! Definitely worth to visit it! Nature is spectacular! Sauna was absolutely cherry on the cake! Calm, spacious, relaxed, clean! Thank you once again, Johanna, for such a great experience!

Johanna’s accommodations were very comfortable and welcoming. She had another woman named Noba helping her and Noba showed me everything the property had to offer and helped with check in. The bathrooms were squeaky clean, as were the rooms. This is a fairly remote property. If you’re looking to kite, look no further. It’s right up the road. There are also some wonderful restaurants nearby. However I would highly recommend you rent a car if you’re staying here. If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful, clean place for reasonable rates, this is the place to stay.

This place was amazing! Words cant describe the beauty and tranquility that is on offer. Me and my wife live in Costa Rica and came here for a short vacation and do some kiteboarding. It was exactly what we were looking. Wildlife , birds, and the best was he river that runs all around the property. Be certain to take a sauna located at the river's edge! The space was described accurately. The shared communal kitchen has everything you will require. The location is tucked away....but small essentials are easily available in nearby village. about 15 minute drive away is town of Nuevo Arenal...which has everything you may require. This is perfect spot if you are interested in Kiteboarding on the lake. 5 minutes away!... we will be returning to this little Oasis. Johana was a great host and communications were perfect.
