Margit ist eine sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. Die Unterkunft hatte eine schöne Einrichtung, die Aussicht war grandios (besser geht es kaum) und mit dem Auto war der m.E. schönste Strand der Insel “Falasarna” schnell zu erreichen (< 10 Minuten). Wir hatten allerdings mehrmals kein Wasser. Margit war jedoch sehr bemüht eine Lösung zu finden und uns mit dem Problem zu helfen. Ich empfehle die Unterkunft definitiv weiter.

Look no further! I am sure you will not find a better view in the whole of Crete. Added to that is the wonderful infinity pool and you don’t need to go anywhere. We loved the privacy and the many areas to sit and lounge outside. House is rustic and a few things could do with an update, but who wants to be inside with that pool and view! Margit responded quicky every time we had a question, so we were never left waiting and wondering. Great restuarants in the area and the bakery in Platanos was a destination every morning. A great stay we all loved.

What a wonderful place!! We have come back to this house for the 2nd time now (a first for us), and enjoyed it just as much as the first time! It is a very comfortable house with a beautiful outdoor area, in a secluded location. The view of the horizon during sunset is out of this world! It's right above one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete, Falasarna, which is actually 3 beaches (we like the laid back vibe of the smaller beaches most). Because it is build on the side of the mountain, there is always a nice fresh breeze from the ocean, and we rarely needed the AC (which works very well though). You will definitely need a car, but it's a short trip to good tavernas (check out Taverna Spilios on the road down to the beach), and well stocked supermarkets. The next "big" town, Kissamos, is only 10 min away. The owner Margit is very easy to communicate with, and super nice. I hope we can manage to come back soon, we miss it already.

The house was exactly as pictured! Situated down a pretty rough dirt road, you arrive to this GORGEOUS setting, property and house. It's decorated so cute and really looks like a Cretan oasis. The views were AMAZING. And the MULTIPLE outdoor areas. It's a prefect house to just relax and enjoy family time. We didn't want to leave! The kitchen is very well equipped and the host even gave us some olive oil from olives on the property. One of the queen beds was very comfortable, but the other could stand to be replaced. The bathroom doors didn't latch - I think they're just old and need to be replaced, I think the host is fixing it now though. I'd definitely recommend this house.
