We stayed at Giovanni's house with 5 people for a week and I can't say enough good things about it. The house is nothing but spectacular, everything that you may need is there and the pool was a big hit with our 6-year old. The garden is particularly lovely, even though over new year's it was a little too cold for us to make full use of it. The location is great, within a short drive you are in the centre of the beautiful Orta San Giulio. The fantastic deli shop next door is also extremely convenient. Giovanni was a wonderful host and answered to all our questions and needs immediately. We made full use of Gio's extensive network (private chef, boat tour, etc.) and recommendations. Giovanni and this house are the reason why we prefer to use Airbnb over a hotel, it doesn't get better than this. We will definitely come back!

The villa oozes Italian charm and character, as does the little village in which it is located. Giovanni was there to greet me at check in and kept in regular touch to ensure all was running smoothly. We had two guests as well as family and not a single negative comment was said about the place, everyone just adored the villa. We rented the villa for one month during which unobtrusive staff were always available to maintain all aspects of the villa, including the pool and garden. The only one additional recommendation I could give for future visitors would be to come with a small car just to make navigating and parking on the narrow streets that little bit easier.
