local residents and our driver told us the tree house was really dangerous.there were people dead because of elephants attack.so we cancel the booking. 尤其建议国内小伙伴谨慎选择，当地居民和我们的司机都建议我们不要去！太危险了，有人在那被野象袭击后挂了。山间窄路7公里多，随时可能有野象出没，我们包的车都走坏了。老板娘还不给退款，一分都不退。 我们后来出于安全考虑，换了地方。真人真事，不信可以问当地居民。

I really enjoyed my brief stay at Maulie's place. The accommodation is very nicely designed, the rooms are beautiful and have everything you need with the added bonus that you fall asleep to the sounds of the forest and fireflies all around. Dinner and breakfast was absolutely delicious and we had the most amazing tea. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. And it's worth taking a quick stroll next to the lake. There is an unbelievable variety of birds around. Thanks Maulie for the hospitality and making my stay with you something to remember.

It’s hard to describe how amazing this place is in a short review but here it goes. This is a beautiful place to get in touch with nature. Monkeys swinging from tree to tree outside our window, dogs taking us for walks, chickens clucking around. The atmosphere is amazing. The service is also phenomenal, with the food being a massive highlight of our stay. Maulie and her supporting staff are lovely and accommodating. It’s worth noting that this isn’t a hotel. By staying here you are a guest to the wildlife and your surroundings. Be mindful of that and have an unforgettable time here.

We stayed 3 nights at Maulie's forest lodge. The location is dreamy and the setting looks like a fairytale. The delicious breakfast and the smily cook added to the experience. Waking up to the sound of monkeys and sleeping among trees is something we will never forget. Keep in mind that the lodge is located in the forest so you always need a tuk tuk or a car. Also, the rooms are not fully enclosed - big gaps on the windows- so expect some visitors during day and night. It's funny but could be weird for some. All in all, we would recommend staying for 1-2 nights in this non typical beautiful lodge.
