Great location, huge comfy apartment, neighborhood was great, not packed with tourists, cable tv was a plus!

My spouse and I loved staying at Yaap’s WONDERFUL apartment in Amsterdam. Where do we begin? First, the amazing location: we were right in the middle of so many fantastic restaurants, pubs, and cafes. And the canals so close by to stroll and eat by. We recommend the tapas restaurant called Duende right down the street and the famous traditional (and fun) restaurant called Moeders (Mothers). And the best Szechuan we’ve ever had at Fulu Manderijn,. And of course taking a canal cruise and seeing the tulips. The Saturday Market right outside the apartment was incredible. The apartment itself is so comfortable with a massive couch and dining table. And large windows to let in the sun. We imagine the back balcony must be wonderful to sit on in warmer weather. Yaap was so sweet leaving us food and snacks and great coffee. Thank you so much, Yaap!

Yaap was wonderful - allowing us to check-in early and instantly responsive to messages. The flat exceeded expectations, was light and spacious and in a top area, with excellent cafes and restaurants on the doorstep and walking distance to busier parts of Amsterdam. We arrived to a bustling market on the street, which was fabulous, yet the neighbourhood was relatively peaceful despite being so well-placed.

Great apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. Jaap was a great host with good communication. Every morning we had the pleasure of watching the native parakeet’s come to the neighbors house for breakfast. Very enjoyable.

My wife and I had a great stay at Yaap's place. The area is amazing, and the back balcony was nice. There are multiple restaurants and stores nearby, within walking distance. Seafood market downstairs for live oysters was our favorite!
