We rented her place in the Hampton Bays for >5 weeks and had a few people come and go for brief stays. The house has undergone some recent renovations and looks better than few of the pictures online. Emer was super accommodative and communicative since day 1 around all the planning involved. She was an excellent host-- the check in was super easy, the house was clean and fully stocked/prepped for a summer live-in setting. The location is great -- 3 min walk from the bay, and 3 min drive from the ocean. The pool and outdoor area is thoughtfully done. We loved staying here and will likely return.

This is a wonderful property in just about every way. The house is modern, airy and open with nice flow: 2 BR’s, 1 “half BR “ and 1 full bath w shower on each of the two levels; comfortable open plan LR, eating area and kitchen on upper level. The best-equipped kitchen you’ll ever find, with every utensil and appliance known to man. If you love to cook, you’ll be in heaven. Beautiful, spacious deck off upper level w eating and lounging areas. Heated pool w extensive dimensions beyond what you will ever find in a private home. (Yes, you can actually swim laps!) Gorgeous, flat, nicely landscaped extensive backyard w hedges-like plantings providing privacy. Incredible location: 3 minute walk to beautiful Shinnecock Bay beach; 5 minute drive to beautiful Ponquoque ocean beach (w ample non-resident parking @ $30/day; a steal for the Hamptons!) Only “negative” (for some and if you care): right across the street is the Beach Bar; it’s totally quiet 5 nights a week but gets quite loud well into the night on Friday & Saturday. Finally, communication w owner is great; they’re super-responsive and helpful.

The home is very roomy and all the accomodations were well appointed. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the option to bike there. The private bay beach down the road was an added bonus and of course the pool was incredibly inviting and enjoyed by all. If you have a pet, they have an enclosed yard for your dog to roam free. This is a big plus. Just know that the fence is not super high and one side faces a busy road. I would caution owners of dogs who can jump or like to roam. Very nice stay, overall. Thank you, Emer!
