had a great stay with Ernestine! Really friendly host, had loads of great recommendations and she also makes a great breakfast too! Responsive communication as well. Room was tidy and spacious and bed was comfy. Will definitely be coming to stay with Ernestine again when I'm in Margate 😁

I would highly recommend Ernestine to anyone. We felt very welcomed & loved listening to her knowledge of local history. The breakfast was amazing. Wished we could have stayed longer as loved chatting to Ernestine & look forward to another visit in the near future.

We had a lovely time staying with Ernestine in Cliftonville, she was very welcoming and informative about the area, nice comfortable room and delicious breakfast, she is perfect host and we highly recommend booking.

We had a great time in Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate over this weekend. All was easy to access from Cliftonville where we stayed. Ernestine picked us up from the train station and offered to make us breakfast every morning which was really lovely. The room had a comfy bed, new mattress and beautiful view into their lovely garden. Our host was super helpful, showed us around on the first day so we knew where bus stops were and gave us a few local maps too. I would recommend getting the stagecoach app and getting a 5 days pass on it to help get around in Thanet. The Loop and other bus services run frequently, although after 11 you will need to get a taxi which might not be easy to come by on the phone. so always look for a taxi station in the town centres. The beaches were so beautiful and so is the view on the coast..If you come to Margate don't miss the Crab museum 😉
