The house was built as an eco house, timber framed, with super insulation and solar panels. The owner is a wheelchair user, so there is ample space in the barn to get around. The large living area has the wow factor of a vaulted ceiling and feature chandelier. It contains a fully fitted kitchen with full size appliances including washer, dryer and dishwasher, along with oven, hob and microwave. The cupboard is stocked with larder items, and there is a Nescafe pod coffee machine. The dining table sits under the large picture window with stunning views across the countryside and canal. The views continue through the French doors in the lounge area, which opens up onto a generous decked area and lawn with outdoor furniture to be part of the countryside and watch the beautiful sunsets. There is a Smart TV with Netflix, sat channels and free wifi. The bedroom also has a vaulted ceiling, a king size bed, ample wardrobe and drawer space, and again has the views across the fields. There is a cot available on request. The beautifully styled bathroom is generously sized, with a roll top bath and a separate low step in shower, along with all towels and toiletries. It is beautifully decorated to make you feel like you are in a luxurious spa in Marrakesh! The porch leads to a large mudroom for your coats, boots and luggage, along with a laundry area complete with washing machine, dryer and cleaning products. This leads out onto the large decking area, which is set onto the field to make you feel like you’re part of the countryside. There is a dining table, chairs and a comfy sofa for sitting and watching the beautiful sunsets. There is a local information pack in the Barn, giving advice on areas to visit, where to find things and information and recommendations for local places to eat. Breakfast is included which consists of bread with jams, marmalade and honey, cereals, a variety of teas and coffee and a Nescafé pod coffee machine.
