We had a lovely stay at Wood Pigeon. It was tucked away in a peaceful location with fabulous walking/hiking trails and wonderful beaches nearby. Lynley made us feel very at home and had some helpful suggestions for exploring the area. We would definitely recommend and love to return.

Wood Pigeon Cottage is right in the heart of Karangahake Gorge, close to multiple natural hot spring locations and conveniently in between Hamilton and Waihi Beach. Wake up to the sound of the native wood pigeons, the wind rustling through poplar trees, and the river that curves around one side of the property. Comfortable bed and all the amenities. Fantastic breakfast and coffee is provided. Enjoy a tranquil, private, and relaxing stay here.
