We arrived at the house in December. The house was decorated with a tree and little decorations everywhere. It felt like home. The house was clean and instructions for everything were very clear. When we did have a problem with the hot water, Eugene fixed it immediately. We had a lovely time!

What a lovely home! We had such a nice stay. Pros: -The home is GORGEOUS. Modern amenities, beautiful style, fantastic rooms. -The home is HUGE. We were just 2 people and didn't realize it had 4 full bedrooms. We honestly felt a little guilty having so much space for just us! -The hosts SO THOUGHTFULLY left us local supplies to make breakfast! We're from New York and aren't accustomed to grocery stores and restaurants closing so early, and we were so grateful they provided some food! We'd have been so hungry otherwise! Cons: -The front door is hard to lock! You have to pull the handle UP, and then lock it. It took us awhile to figure this out. -The other house on the property (also an Airbnb, I presume) is right next door. From the photos, you can't tell that it's not quite as private as you might think. -You definitely need a car! It's not walkable into Doolin (honestly not walkable anywhere, because the streets are so narrow/no sidewalks), and there's no Uber!

If you have the chance to spend any time at this home, make it a priority. The location is stunning and the house is beautiful and updated. We loved being here and it served as a great starting point for all of our adventures: exploring Doolin, day drive to Connemara National Park, hike around the Burren, ferry to Inishmore, hiking and ferry visit to the Cliffs of Moher. Just an ideal spot to see so much of the country.

Could not have found a better place to stay in Doolin. Home was so charming, perfectly appointed with everything we needed. Kitchen had so many special touches. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was very nice. The entire home was spotless and had everything we needed.

We very much enjoyed our visit and stay! The cottage was in a great location, very clean, and perfect for our family vacation - everyone even had their own bathroom! Bonus was looking out on the neighboring cows and the gorgeous views! Would love to return!
