Fred was a great host. Everything was like in the pictures. Place was really clean. 10 min (650 m) walking to metro. Quiet neighborhood, very good to sleep well. I would definitely recommend it.

Great place to stay. I would lookup Fred’s place again if traveling to Montreal. It is as advertised on Airbnb. Close to metro station to get anywhere in the city. The station is 5-10 minute walk. Good restaurants around his neighborhood especially for poutine and Portuguese food. If working remote, he has solid internet to get things done. Fred communicated quickly and clearly, it was a pleasure to get to know him a little and he shared what’s around the city. NOTE FOR THOSE WHO BRING A CAR: Listen carefully to Fred. There’s very limited free parking with 4, maybe 5, spaces available but quickly get taken by local residents. Also, Montreal has street sweepers so pay attention to street signs to temporarily move your car. The free parking by Fred’s, the sweepers come Monday’s between 9-10AM. Montreal police will give out tickets for violations.

Fred was a wonderful host! He was easy to communicate and great to talk to. The place was very clean. It was within walking distance to the metro. Would recommend staying at his place!
