Great place for families with enough space to have private moments. A true Greek island house full of personal memories, paintings and other wonderful items. Large land around the house with a little plunge pool to relax. There is a service person coming and checking that everything is working well. Wonderful experience!

Beautiful rustic farmhouse in extensive grounds. Exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room for 2 families - 4 adults and 4 children. Beautiful sitting areas for dining or relaxing. Easy access to the beaches and the town of Ermoupoli - which is very picturesque. Kitchen fully equipped and very well stocked, which was a lovely discovery and made eating in very easy! Net the caretaker/gardener was very responsive and helpful. Property is fully air-conditioned which was a bonus as we came during a hot week! We would definitely recommend this property and we would come and stay again. Thank you Tamar for hosting us.

We loved the farmhouse. It is very charming and beautifully decorated. The plunge pool in the middle of the pine trees is a haven.

We stayed 1 week at this wonderful house with our kids and friends. The house is big enough for 2 families with 4 kids (8 persons in total). The house is truly an Airbnb treasure. It’s interior is unique, beautiful and personal; and staying here felt very much like staying in someone’s home with its furniture, decorations, books and personal touches. The terraces are wonderful, relaxing and inviting to spend time in. Personally, I could easily have spent days laying on the couches, reading and enjoying books from the fantastic library the house has. Bedlinen and towels were gorgeous, likewise the tableware. The swimming pool that the house has is a luxury in this climate. Our kids adored it as it was easy for them to enjoy and play in. Having the pool is a great advantage, especially during the middle of the day when it’s too hot to be at the beach. As for the location, it provides for an interesting view of the surrounding landscape, in addition to being conveniently close to the city and the beaches in the island. It’s private, yet at the same time sufficiently close to the buzz of the city and life on the island. Net, the caretaker, was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. We arrived late at the island, and Net helped us with transportation and to acquire the groceries we needed for breakfast. Manuals, guides and house-rules were carefully written and explained. Our vacation at Syros and this house was pleasant and unforgettable, and we recommend the house to others for a unique experience on Syros at an authentic mansion.
