This place was the perfect getaway. I loved the location and views of the landscape. The gorgeous farmhouse was a beautiful blend of old and new and felt cozy. This was the perfect place to watch the eclipse from and created memories for me and my family we will never forget. Peter and Sandra were accommodating and informative. We would recommend staying in this unique and special spot to our friends.

The house was beautiful with amazing views. It was in a private location. They had a projector instead of a TV which was very fun to use for the weekend. The bathroom was stunning and everything was well prepared for when we got there. The only issue we had was the couch wasn’t clean, there were many crumbs, teething ring, and other things under the cushions. We had to vacuum the couch when we got there. But otherwise everything was very clean and our stay was overall great!

Peter’s place is a cozy house isolated in the mountains located near plenty of hikes, restaurants, breweries, as well as a quick 30 minute drive to Burlington. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Vermont Farmhouse. We wish we could have had a couple more days in the area so we could have just relaxed on the deck a while. Peter and Shandra were great hosts. I had a question the first night we arrived and he responded in less than two minutes and followed up with me and even offered to come out the next day if needed. The day we left when we were pulling out Peter, Sandra, and their youngest baby arrived so they came up to our truck and we had a nice conversation with them. Really sweet family. Their home felt just like that, their home that they were welcoming you in for a visit. It is rustic and might not have a lot of the conveniences we are used to such as TV, AC, microwave, etc but the experience you get in return was well worth it. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely consider returning if we get the opportunity. Thanks, The McVeys
