We got to stay in the Magnolia suite for two consecutive nights, it was an absolutely lovely home, and the room was clean, comfortable and a nostalgic dream! This was my first experience at a bed and breakfast, yet felt right at home here in Woodstock. An absolute must stay for extreme fans of Groundhog Day ❤️👍

We cannot say enough about this GEM of a Bed and Breakfast! Our hosts communicated, in advance to make sure they’d be available during our arrival window. The directions to the Cherry Tree in were clear and made for easy navigation. We were welcomed to a beautiful, serene, cozy home and given a tour of the house and the grounds. We had an abundance of local recommendations to make sure we made the most of our time in Woodstock! Our room had an amazing view (and a film famous one) of the street, which was lovely. Beds were very comfortable. Can’t say enough about the breakfast!!! Whatever your menu is, you’re going to enjoy it!! Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and a blast to talk to! We will be making this an annual trip. You should too! 10/10!

This place is a gem hidden in the beautiful town of Woodstock, Illinois. The town is a dream, quiet place, relaxing with great food and people. The room I stayed in has a great view from the bay window featured in the movie groundhog day. My friend stayed in the oak room. The house is gorgeous with a beautiful wrap around porch. Great place to eat the delicious breakfast prepared for you every morning. Great coffee! I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing weekend. We'll be back. If I had to live the same day over and over again.... I would want it to be in this place!

A beautiful large home that is conveniently located, clean and comfortable, with a hearty breakfast included. Communication was excellent from the very beginning and Lori was happy to be flexible to accommodate our travel plans. She greeted us upon check-in and gave us all the info we needed for a very pleasant stay. We especially appreciated thoughtful touches like access to common areas, games, water, coffee and tea. Parking is on-site, very convenient. Be sure to enjoy the "Groundhog Day" touches that are peppered throughout the house. Breakfast was comfortably communal and we enjoyed talking with the host and other guests.

This beautiful historic home is spectacular! Lori was attentive, helpful, and a wonderful hostess ❤️. The rooms were well appointed, the bathroom spotless with an amazing shower and the best, softest towels I’ve ever used! We would recommend Cherry Tree Inn without hesitation and look forward to another stay in the future!
