Lovely cottage with a shaded deck that overlooks a creek. Had a great couple of days there while rafting on the river and visiting local swimming holes.

Perfect hide-away! Quiet and relaxing. PROS: The directions were clear on arriving and check in was easy. The owner lives on the property, but pretty much keeps to himself unless you need something or have questions. Communication was good. The house was clean and well stocked. The kitchen had a great variety of spices and other basics. I love to cook, and was very pleased with the kitchen setup. The sun room is the best place to hang out in the morning. It's cool & comfortable, the light is perfect for reading and it's the best spot in the house to pick up WiFi. The deck is awesome! We had dinner out there several times. CONS: Only one, and it explains my "Location" review. There was no creek access from the house. In the posted pictures you can see a shot of stairs leading up from the creek to the house that ends in a platform above the creek. Not a big deal, but if you were thinking of walking down and sticking your toes in the creek, that's not going to happen. RECCOMENDATION: This is really designed to be a two person occupancy, unless you have a child under 10 (and only one).

Eclectic private little cabin in the heart of Trinity County. Only a short drive to Weaverville and easy to get to despite its rural location. Kitchen was relatively well stocked and the bed was super comfortable.

Overall nice place to have stayed for a couple nights while visiting the area. Amenities were great. Bed is soft so that is good or bad depending on preferences.
