Beautiful home just as pictured: full of charm, tastefully furnished, and comfortable. Two blocks from 4th and all it has to offer, we easily walked with kids (including at night) to enjoy all that it has to offer, yet you're far enough away that we never heard a sounds from the activity down the street or dealt with cars parking near the house. The perfect place to enjoy one of Joburg's liveliest, walkable neighborhoods. And, of course, driving around to other great neighborhoods is a breeze from this location as well. Absolutely recommend.

We had a wonderful 3 month stay here and we are already sad to be back in the UK. The house is charming, and has everything you could need for a long term stay with a small child, including toys and a cot. The kitchen is also remarkably well stocked with pots, cooking/serving/eating utensils, and dishes for an airbnb. Whenever we ran into any small hiccups, Juanita always sorted things out quickly and kindly, including having water delivered when the city water supply experienced issues. The solar power is also very reliable - we didn’t have a single power issue while we were there, and the internet access is also very good for any remote work needs. It is also important to mention that Doreen and Cliff who are on Juanita’s team do excellent job of maintaining the place and are not only helpful but also kind and hard working. The house is well-located, feels very safe, and is walkable to great restaurants. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at Juanita's place. We had some hiccups upon arrival with one of the rooms, but Juanita was very helpful and fast in her response. She is overall an expectional host, very friendly and supportive!

A great place where I stayed for 4 weeks. The house has all the amenities and Juanita makes sure the place is spic and span. A warm host who is always just a text away. The area is quiet and clean with lots of amazing restaurants at a walkable distance. The house and neighbourhood is very safe!

Juanita is an outstanding host. We arrived late due to vehicle trouble and she could not have been more understanding. So generous too. She filled the fridge and provided complementary cool drinks and bottle of champagne, worried we may not have had anything to eat on our way from the Cape. We were blown away! She also was hugely attentive when excessive load shedding caused some issues for us. She could not have done more to help us over our wonderful 5 day stay. Juanita's property is in the lovely Parkhurst, within walking distance of the most amazing restaurants like Kolaniki. With a guard stationed outside the property, high walls and off street parking, it's safe and secure. The property is beautifully designed and maintained with a manicured front garden and spacious, sunny back courtyard with pool, loungers etc Bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms are sumptuous with a full dressing room in the main bedroom. Fresh roses too. Her staff are lovely. Highly recommended
