We stayed at Connemara Farm to view the April 8th total solar eclipse and it was perfect! The house was spacious and clean and full of character. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking gear for cooking for a large group. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of beautiful outdoor space perfect for watching the eclipse. It’s also a very short drive to the beach. When we were there there were lots of ladybugs collecting around the windows and lamps but that’s the kind of thing that is expected in an old house in the country!

Wendy’s farm house gave us a nice stay for our family during a family wedding in the area! Loved the quaint atmosphere of the older house!! The only downside to this place is the limited shower facilities for the number of guests it can sleep.

My family I stayed at Wendy and Jim’s for my sisters wedding that was nearby. This is a beautiful old home that has been very well cared for. The home was very clean, the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Wendy was very responsive and friendly and even extended our checkout time. Overall, a great find and was exactly what we were looking for! Thank you again!

My recent Airbnb stay had its pros and cons. The place was cozy, bug-free inside despite insects outside. The AC worked great, and the decor was pleasing. But, the bug issue was real; bring strong repellent for bonfires. Also, pack salt and pepper, they weren't provided. The vintage look might not be everyone's taste, but it's safe. Windows don't open to keep bugs out. There were fun games for the kids, and the beds were comfy. Sleeping was a breeze. Do note, you'll need to take your garbage with you; no leaving even one bag. The prime beach location was the selling point. In summary, it's a decent spot with some quirks. Thanks to the hosts for having us!

We had a great time at the farm house! It is very spacious and lots of room for a big group; plenty of bedrooms and living space. The house was quaint and lovely, stocked with everything you need, very clean, cozy and comfortable and a quick 5 min drive to Port Stanley beach. The wifi was a bit iffy but the cell service was great in the area so we still had data if we needed it and enjoyed disconnecting :) Host very helpful and responsive, would definitely come back!
