Lovely and welcoming, clear expectations and nothing was too much trouble! Would happily stay again. The setting is beautiful with it being nestled in the bush but with sea views, watching the sun rise was lovely.
Shelly and Mark’s place was gorgeous. We had a lovely restful time there, tucked away in greenery. They were so helpful during our stay! And Pipi is a lovely dog
Great check in, Mark was there with a friendly greeting. Sensational views! Mark was very friendly and helpful. Gave us lots of local knowledge of where to visit and eat. The property is beautiful and the accommodation lovely. The beds were very comfortable and the spa was relaxing. Highly recommended 👌
We had a great stay in Eskdale! The house is tastefully decorated and clean. The location is far enough away to be peaceful and private, but handy to Napier and lots of good food places. Mark was super helpful with local recommendations and setting up the spa. Very friendly hosts in a serene location

We love sharing our local knowledge of the best of Hawkes Bay with guests. Our apartment is upstairs because the house was too big and the pool is huge so we just have to share! He likes fishing and I like Skiing and we both like meeting people. We worked for years in our own restaurants and hospitality businesses. We have lived in South Africa and Europe, Australia and the Pacific Islands.
