My partner and I had a lovely time at Whitford House. The house was beautifully decorated as a classic New England home. The bed was very comfortable and the water ran hot with good water pressure. The tub is elegant and invites you for a long deep relaxing soak. The house is located nearby numerous delicious restaurants (~20 minute) like Tourterelle, the Bobcat, and Antidote. We enjoyed a speculator viewing of the 2024 Eclipse in the vast scenic farm fields of our backyard! We were surrounded by nature, and Jeff the host kindly took us on a quick walk to a cattail-lined pond where the red-winged black birds were darting about. Jeff was a very helpful, attentive, and communicative host! He helped us decide on which mountain would be the best to visit given the late session; we landed on snowboarding at Sugarbush which was ~50 minutes away. Jeff very kindly offered us a continental breakfast, which was completely unexpected but a tasty welcome! I look forward to coming back soon!

Our stay was incredible - Jeff was very proactive and had a lot of good recommendations for the area. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and at home. I highly recommend his place.

Jeff went above and beyond, greeting us upon arrival and offering local recommendations. The space itself was very clean with all of the right touches to feel right at home. The surroundings were beautiful and perfect for a Fall getaway!

My wife and I had come to Vermont to celebrate our 1st anniversary, and the area around Addison was so beautiful during the fall season. Jeff was an amazing host that gave great recommendations about restaurants in the area and local hikes that had amazing views! The property was gorgeous and felt very large and spacious. The bathroom was huge and a fantastic surprised at how nice it was! We would recommend anyone stay here for any occasion and would love to stay again!

My boyfriend and I booked a last minute trip to Vermont and Jeff’s place was perfect for a couple getaway. The house is in a quiet town that is about 15/20 minutes to all different types of activities. Jeff was a great host! He offered recommendations for restaurants before we arrived and he also willingly gave us recommendations for activities in the area such as orchards and farmers markets. Our favorite part of the trip was sitting out on the patio, drinking Jeff’s homemade coffee and breakfast while, over looking the mountains. We had such a peaceful stay. Definitely recommend staying here!
