Toms place was perfect! A wrap around porch meant that even when it rained we got to enjoy the vista. We enjoyed the use of the fire pit for smores and the grill. The beds were super comfortable and the decor was super cute and themed all the match. At the top of the drive where the turning is there is a stream which we scrambled down to. We would recommend!

Pinecone Lodge is a beautiful place. Nestled at the base of the Catskill Mountains. 10 min away from town of Roscoe. If you love to fly fish, this is the place to be with BeaverKill Creek and Willowemoc Creek nearby. We fished at nearby lakes and had a great time. Find a Peck market for grocery shopping. Get live bait at Fur Fin and Feather. Eat at Raimondo’s for steak at $22. Drink beer and eat venison sausage at the brewery. We love the Double Headed Stout and Darwin’s Theory. The only drawback of Pinecone Lodge is that is off a major local highway CR 7 with cars going all night. The speed limit is 55mph but cars are going about 70. So you can hear the road noise at all hours and you can see the highway from the porch. The acreage described is in the backyard. We thought we would find a quiet secluded place and were slightly disappointed. Overall, we loved the cabin. Plenty of wood for fireplace burning. Great fishing and hiking nearby.

My husband, 3 boys and I had a lovely stay at Tom’s cabin. Loved the rustic homey feel with all the personal touches. Close to great fishing which was the main reason for our trip. Tom responded immediately to my communications and gave us great recommendations for dining and fishing. He was also kind enough to allow us a late check out so we were able to squeeze in one more morning on the river and still have time to clean up before we left. Will definitely come back another time!

Tom’s place was well appointed and had rustic charm :). Very clean and private. The wrap around porch was awesome to sit on and relax. Proximity was great for quick drives to hike and fish. Thanks !
