Great location (about a block from St. Stephen's) and plenty of restaurants surrounding the area. Even though the location is highly central, it's actually quite quiet inside of the apartment. It's also poised around a few metro stops (the furthest is 8 mins to the M2 for the Keleti train station) which makes easy traveling to further places like Buda or the city park. The apartment is very clean and the kitchen is usable, but very small. The shades make it very dark in the bedrooms though there's some major creaks in the floor if you're worried about waking up anyone. Overall Mihaly is a great host and it's a great apartment for the weekend. I would recommend - we didn't hear construction as others mentioned.

Some kind of metal frame that you could feel through the mattress. Terribly uncomfortable for sleeping. No notebook to look at with information. Could use a blanket for the couch. Maybe a few more dishes. Not much help from the host. Would not recommend.

Loved staying here, very responsive host, he provided us with lots of information which made our stay here smooth. location was perfect as tourist attractions were at a wakabll distance. Place was clean and the pictures are exactly what you get. The building it's self is old however, very secure, felt safe whilst staying here. Thank you for having us.

Mihaly's place is the perfect location for a short stay in Budapest if you want to be within walking distance from all the tourist attractions. The home is spacious and quiet. It faces the inner patio and it's in a pretty calm street. Mihaly was very responsive to any request or doubt we had, making our stay very smooth.
