Avon’s place is located in a very nice neighborhood and a very convenient location. Gabri, Avon’s daughter, was very nice and I loved talking to her and spending time with her dog Sapphire. My stay there went smoothly overall. The only complaint I have is the cleanliness of my room, the bathroom and the kitchen when I got there. I found hair from the last guest that had used my room and the room was dusty. The bathroom was covered in the hair of the other guest I was going to share the apartment with. The rugs in the bathroom were dirty and the tub needed cleaning as well. The kitchen counters and the fridge were stained. While I did expect to be responsible for cleaning throughout my long stay, it’s an uncommon airbnb experience to find it dirty when you first check in. I ended up cleaning everything myself as best as I could. While Gabri was a great person to share the apartment with, the other roommate wasn’t. Nothing was done even tho I complained multiple times about him.

Avon's house is very nice, in a quiet location and the common spaces kept clean. Cozy Corner was decently sized and had easy access to both a full bathroom and laundry machines. Unfortunately, the property isn't especially equipped for long stays. Hand soap and toilet paper, for instance, were listed as provided amenities, but I was expected to provide my own after the first time the dispensers ran out. I was pointed to posted house rules which were nowhere to be found in the common space of the house nor on the listing itself. I was also told that it was my job to clean the bathroom that I used, but I don't know how this would have been upheld had there been more people staying. The kitchen was also not equipped for long stays, given that there were no frying pans larger than 8" and a microwave that could not fit a dinner plate. All in all I rate the stay 7/10. It was a good location and had some necessities for a long stay. The renters are new, so hopefully these things improve.
