We were a group of 5 friends having a girly weekend away. The location of the house was perfect, down a quaint side street and we couldn’t have been nearer the castle! Everything we needed from shops to bars to restaurants was within an easy walking distance.

Great place to stay so close to the King Henry VIII castle gate and also the town centre with multiple restaurants and shops all very near by. House was as described and well equipped. We came for an investiture - it was perfect and good value for several family members to stay.

After spending time in mainly rural settings we wanted a few days close to London to catch up with friends. This place is in a fantastic location, great instructions otherwise could be tricky to locate and we had lots of luggage as travelling for a month with kids but we managed to unload and load easily despite the proximity to the castle. The Townhouse was perfect in terms of size and even travelling with my elderly father the stairs are manageable and the location of bedrooms and family bathroom worked well. The kids loved the hustle and bustle and it all felt safe and cosy. Great pubs and places close by and was nice to be in walking distance and avoid needing the car. Definitely recommend.
