Great location with lots of great lunch food places around. In the free tram zone so very easy to get around Melbourne

The rating is better described at 3 and half starts. The location is fantastic with free tram stops all around, and short walking distance to a variety of restaurants and other food choices such as groceries at Woolworths. The city and bay views are also spectacular at any time of day. The building security access is top-notch, and the elevator to even the 35th floor was quick. With all positives and knowing the negatives described below, I would book again at the same price, below $100 US per night, but not above. But, the inside of the apartment has some wear and tear that is not visible in the not-so-recent pictures. The carpets in the living area have multiple stains, and the sofa has signs of wear along with the shower. The outside windows were dirty and with the city view being the big appeal of this apartment, it is somewhat lost with dirty windows. Also, the kitchen faucet is not secure at its base, and moved when used. The bathroom needs better lighting. Dimly lit for a bathroom. No written information on the wifi connection and password was provided in the apartment or for the air conditioning operation. Also, written information on use of the key fob for the entry to the lobbies and use of the elevator prior to arrival would have been helpful. The lobby entries and elevator require a key fob (included on the key chain), for its use, and while it may be common in Melbourne, it is not common in other places. Most annoying were Jojy's responses to my request for an early check-in prior to my arrival, and use of the gym after my arrival. On the early check-in Jojy quickly responded that early check-in dependent on the last guest's departure and to contact the key service he uses. I did and the key service directed me back to Jojy. Jojy should have known that the apartment would be ready for early check-in since the apartment was not booked the previous two nights. After my arrival from the airport, I called the key service while sitting outside of the building entrance, since the key fob was needed for entry, and convinced them to deliver the key at 1 p.m. rather than the scheduled 4 p.m. I think Jojy should have coordinated the whole process. On use of the gym which the listing indicates is available for access, I attempted to access the gym with the key fob with no success. I contacted Jojy who quickly responded that I should talk to the building concierge, which I did later in the day. The concierge told me the gym is not available to AirBnB guests, and he had told this to Jojy earlier. Jojy did not communicate this to me or make any apologies for his inaccurate listing and communication.

Thank you for a great stay in your apartment. It was exactly as advertised, had everything we needed and perfect location for us to do the tennis and get around Melbourne. Lots of options for food nearby and close to public transport options. Definitely recommend this property.
